These Terms govern your use of the SpeakIQ app and services, operated by SpeakIQ LLC ("SpeakIQ," "we"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use SpeakIQ.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age where you live). If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
SpeakIQ records practice sessions you initiate, analyzes them with automated and AI systems, and provides coaching feedback, progress tracking, and related features. SpeakIQ provides self-improvement feedback only. AI-generated feedback may be inaccurate or incomplete; it is not professional, medical, psychological, or career advice, and no outcome is guaranteed.
You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your information accurate. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You own your recordings, transcripts, and other content you create ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to operate and provide the service to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law.
We do not use your recordings to train our own or third-party foundation models.
You agree not to:
SpeakIQ offers a free tier and a paid SpeakIQ Premium subscription (unlimited sessions and audience simulations, advanced coaching, report export, advanced analytics, priority processing).
The app, its design, software, models, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, consistent with the App Store Terms of Service (this is the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement scope).
The service depends on third-party providers (authentication, hosting, AI processing). We are not responsible for interruptions caused by those providers, and their terms may apply to their processing.
You may stop using SpeakIQ and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate the service or your account for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections 4 (license end), 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT FEEDBACK WILL BE ACCURATE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) US $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois, unless applicable consumer law lets you sue where you live.
These Terms are between you and SpeakIQ LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support, and is not responsible for product claims, IP claims, or legal compliance regarding the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
